To ensure you get the most accurate and useful results, here are a few key steps to follow:
- Try to scan at the same time of day for consistency in future scans
- Avoid scanning right after training
- Fast for at least 3-4 hours before your scan (ideally 8) so food isn’t mistaken for body fat
- Skip alcohol and caffeine for 24-48 hours to avoid temporary fluctuations
- Do not consume caffeine-based products like pre-workout, thermogenic aids, or diuretics, as they can impact hydration levels and results
- Stay well-hydrated for the most reliable reading
- For female clients: The best time to scan is day 7-8 of your cycle for consistency. If that’s not possible, try to scan on the same day (+/- 2 days) in future scans
- For follow-up scans, try to keep your food and hydration volume the same to ensure accurate progress tracking
